CONNECTING TO JACRP
We highly suggest you create a new shortcut to FiveM for connecting to our server ofr the following reasons.
We have configured our server in Pure Mode which restricts the use of a lot of modifications to reduce the potential for griefers.
We also recommend running a seperate GTA instance for our server as your keybindings, cache etc will all be specific to our server.
Our server also runs a proxy system for assets to speed up downloads in certain regions. Currently we service the Asia Pacific region with this system and will expand it in future to other areas.
- Find your FiveM Shortcut and create a copy of it on your desktop
- Right click on the new shortcut and rename it to Just Another City RP
- Right click on the new shortcut and go into properties
- Find the text box labelled Target and append the following after FiveM.exe
-pure_1 -cl2 +connect https://gta.justanothercity.net - Make sure there is a space after the FiveM.exe
This will give you a link that automatically connects to our server in pure mode, in the second client mode (enables a fresh set of cache files for our server specifically), and then connects to the server through our proxy system.
If you try to connect directly, you potentially won’t get connected through the proxy system and will have issues with assets downloading slowly.
